About Us

Since 2004, community volunteers in Warren and Forest Counties have advocated for children in court.

Our Local Affiliate

Our mission is to recruit, train, and empower dedicated community volunteers to advocate for the best interests of children within the court system who have experienced abuse and/or neglect, ensuring every child has a safe, supportive, and permanent home where they can thrive.

Part of a Statewide Network

We are one of the local affiliates of CYAN, The Child & Youth Advocacy Network of Pennsylvania. CYAN of Pennsylvania, the state office, provides training, technical assistance, and quality assurance, so our advocates are prepared and supported, and children here benefit from what works across the Commonwealth.

Since 2004

Our first volunteer advocates were sworn in in November 2004, and we became CYAN of Warren and Forest Counties on November 2, 2026. Our mission is unchanged: giving a voice to children, under the protection of the Juvenile Court, seeking safety and permanency.

It only takes one advocate to impact a child. We know this to be true.

The stories prove it. We hear them every day, from stakeholders who see firsthand how a home visit or court report can change a child’s circumstances for the better. And the data proves it. Children assigned a CYAN Judicial Child Advocate are 88% less likely to re-enter the care system.

Every Child Deserves an Advocate.

Children in Warren and Forest Counties are waiting for someone in their corner. You could be that person.
