Become an Advocate
Every child deserves an advocate. We help transform you into one.
Judicial Child Advocates are trained community volunteers appointed by judges to help determine the best path forward for a child experiencing neglect and abuse. As an advocate with CYAN of Warren and Forest Counties, your job is to observe and report on the life of that child, then provide the judge with invaluable information and recommendations.
You don't need a background in law or social work. Judicial Child Advocates are certified, supported, and empowered by CYAN, Pennsylvania's Child & Youth Advocacy Network, and we'll prepare you with training and support you through every case.
Tell us a little about yourself below. We'll reach out to talk about the role, answer your questions, and walk you through the next steps.
